The accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness of the physician’s report is directly related to whether these documents were sent in a reasonable timeframe before the claimant is evaluated so the physician can spend time reviewing the records. Indeed some of our physicians feel so strongly about this that an evaluation could be cancelled at the physician’s discretion if the records are not received when the claimant arrives at our office. Please do not have this happen to you or your client. We do make reminder calls about the materials we lack. Please heed our calls! We will return all records to your office upon completion of the evaluation. Please clearly mark where your records are to be sent - otherwise we SHRED AND RECYCLE!
